A Note for Parents & Caregivers

Elio's Feelings Word Game is a gentle, play-based activity designed to help children ages 4–8 recognize, name, and talk about their emotions. Using a word search, face-matching, drawing, and simple sentence starters, children are invited to explore a range of feelings — from happy and excited to worried and lonely — in a safe and supportive way.

There are no right or wrong answers. Every feeling a child expresses is valid. We encourage you to sit alongside your child as they work through the pages, using each activity as a natural starting point for conversation. The included Answer Key (Page 6) offers guided questions to deepen the discussion.
